We machine a plug that fits perfectly into the Glock 41 weight reduction cavity, it is then secured by one 6x32 screw that has been dabbed with rocksett. This plug allows us to perform an optic cut at standard depth and in regular placement.

Here's some extra info that you may find useful:

- Rocksett is a thread locker that is regularly used to secure muzzle devices to something like an AR-15. It is temperature resistant up to 2,015 degrees faranhite. Rocksett withstands oils, fuels, acids, and alkalis. It is only removable by water soaking for upwards of 24 hours.

- The 6x32 screw installed into the top of the slide is the same type of steel screws that is used for our optic cuts. They're a bit overkill for this use case, but we figure, "better safe than sorry".
